About

Hey there! I’m a full-time mom, maker, and mountain lover living in the wild heart of Salida, Colorado. When I’m not skiing, hiking, or chasing my kids down a bike trail, you’ll find me at my sewing machine bringing Rag Tag Rick to life.

Rag Tag Rick started out of pure play — I began making pants for my kids from thrifted t-shirts I found in local shops, pieces that spoke to their adventurous, messy, joyful energy. The first pairs were instant favorites: comfy, loose, with soft elastic waistbands that kept up with every tumble, climb, and cuddle of the day. They were perfect for diaper changes, potty training, and everything in between — durable enough for adventure and funky enough to make people smile.

Each pair is one of a kind, stitched from repurposed fabrics and crafted with love. Rag Tag Rick is all about easy comfort, bold colors, and clothes that let kids (and parents!) live and play freely.
